Frequently Asked Questions
How can Arova sell quality bathrooms so cheaply?
It comes down to how we buy and sell. Arova sources directly from high-end manufacturers and sells straight from our own Melbourne warehouses, so there's no middleman markup added along the way.
We buy in volume, hold stock locally, and pass those savings straight on to you. You get the same designer look and build quality you'd find elsewhere — just without the retail-chain premium on top.
Are the cheaper products actually good quality?
Yes. A lower price at Arova reflects the way we buy and sell, not a drop in quality. Our products come from the same high-end manufacturers used by premium brands, are WaterMark approved where required, and are built to last.
That's why our vanities are backed by up to 15 years' warranty. The saving is in cutting out the middleman — not in cutting corners on materials.
Are Arova products WaterMark approved and Australian Standard compliant?
Yes. Our tapware, toilets and relevant plumbing products carry WaterMark certification, and our vanities are designed to meet the relevant Australian Standards so they line up with standard plumbing and can be installed by any licensed plumber.
Buying compliant product protects both your warranty and your home, and it's non-negotiable for us regardless of price. The product sheet on each page lists the exact specifications.
Is there a warranty on Arova products?
Yes — every Arova product is covered by warranty. Bathroom vanities come with 15 years on ceramic and stone tops and 5 years on cabinets, and all products carry the statutory guarantees provided under Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty length varies by product category, so check the individual product page or our Warranty page for the exact terms.
Wall-hung or freestanding — which vanity is more "worth it"?
It depends on your space rather than the price. Freestanding vanities make a beautiful statement but need more floor room, while wall-hung vanities free up floor space, make cleaning easier, and suit smaller or modern bathrooms.
Both offer generous storage and work well as a focal point, so the best value is simply the one that fits your bathroom and the way you use it. Every vanity lists full dimensions on its product page, or you can compare them in person at one of our Melbourne showrooms.
Is 304 stainless steel important, and will the finish rust or discolour over time?
The material underneath the finish matters significantly in a bathroom environment. Arova's heated towel rails are constructed from premium 304 stainless steel, which is specifically chosen for its resistance to rust and corrosion in high-humidity conditions. This is the same grade used in quality kitchen and marine applications. Rails made from mild steel with a surface coating can hold up well initially, but are more vulnerable to rust if the coating is scratched or if moisture gets into joints over time.
The IP55 rating on Arova's rails also means they are rated to handle the water splashing and steam that is normal in a bathroom setting. To maintain the finish, Arova recommends wiping the surface with a soft cloth and avoiding abrasive cleaners.
Will a heated towel rail use a lot of electricity and add to my power bill?
Heated towel rails are among the more energy-efficient bathroom additions you can make. Because our models are designed with low energy consumption in mind, they offer significant energy savings without compromising on the warmth and comfort you crave. In fact, running this heated towel rail (8hrs per day) for a month costs roughly the same as one cup of coffee.
Is pickup really free, and what does delivery cost?
Yes — pickup from our Melbourne warehouses is free, and because most products are in stock locally you can often collect the same day.
If you'd prefer delivery, shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and the items in your order. For a quote or to check delivery to your area, see our Delivery page or get in touch with our team.
What's the lead time, and will it arrive before my tradie is booked?
Most of our range is stocked locally in our Melbourne warehouses, so lead times are short and many items are ready to dispatch or collect straight away.
Some pre-order items take longer to arrive, so if you've booked a tradie we recommend confirming stock with our team first — that way your products land before installation day.
Do you price match, or are these already your best prices?
Our prices are warehouse-direct, so they're typically well below standard retail — and you'll find regular clearance deals and seasonal sales like our EOFY event on top of that.
If you've found the same product cheaper elsewhere, get in touch before you buy and we'll do our best to help.
Can I see the products in person before buying?
Absolutely. We have three Melbourne showrooms — Mulgrave, Thomastown and Sunshine — where you can see finishes, sizes and quality in person and get advice from our team before you decide.
Showrooms are open Monday to Friday 9am–5pm and Saturday 10am–4.30pm. Many items are in stock in the warehouse below, so you can often take them home the same day.
Can I pay in instalments?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Instalment options such as PayPal's Pay in 4 may be available at checkout, depending on eligibility.
You'll see every payment method you can use on the checkout step, or check our Payment Options page for the current list.
